The children in our church come from a variety of different backgrounds. This means that wherever your child is in his/her faith journey, there is a place for him/her in our church school. We want church school to be an engaging, informative and enjoyable experience for your child. Our small size allows us a level of intimacy, community, and individualized teaching within a caring and loving learning environment not possible in larger churches.

Our curriculum is Bible centered. We adapt the Bible lessons to the child’s level of cognitive development, teaching from both literal historical and symbolic perspectives. We adapt the church school year calendar to the church year, eg. teaching the children about the history, traditions, and deeper meaning of both Christian and Jewish holidays.

We supplement the lessons with resources from other church school curricula, eg. BibleQuest, which was designed as a collaborative effort of several Protestant denominations. We also utilize a full range of multimedia: computer software, DVD-Videos, and music CDs.

The church school experience would not be complete without a lot of fun! Throughout the year the children participate in several seasonal parties, artistic productions, and field trips.
